Bevery Pierce Stoebel
1931-2010
Deep River Books is mourning the loss of Author Beverly Pierce Stroebel who went to be with our Lord and Savior on February 5, 2010. She was a passionate women of God who impacted many with her desire and drive to pray for our country and all other nations. Sharing her historical roots that trace back 13 generations to the Mayflower in her book Full Sail-A 21st Century Spiritual Cruise On Board the Mayflower, Beverly found praying for our country her duty as well as the duty of all American citizens.
In a final letter sent to her publicist just days before her passing she said:
"Full Sail meets urgent needs of our times. Place this book on your store shelves and promote as a resource for avenging evil and protecting our Judeo-Christian and American freedoms. Teachers, preachers, parents, and grandparents need to know this book is available for teaching American history, how and why to pray for nations, and that it is never too early or late in life to preserve freedoms.
The author’s ancestors signed the 17th century Christian and civil Mayflower compact. The Compact goals to advance Christian faith and glorify God have never been refuted. Through the years since America’s founding, citizens have fought for those basic rights. Because they won many battles, 21st century patriots and people of faith—the Compact signers' spiritual descendants—still have the freedom and responsibility to re-dedicate our myriads ways of life to God’s glory. That glorious space is well protected because He gives glory to no one else (Isaiah 42:8).
Our nation is under attack and citizens are seeking help. Order and promote now; you will want this book on your shelves as attacks and threats continue."
Sincerely Beverly Pierce Stroebel
In a statement released by her family Beverly was hospitalized on Tuesday February 2, 2010 with a sudden onset of sickness that resulted in her passing on Friday morning. She was surrounded by her family who felt the prayers of many.
Beverly will be truly missed. We at Deep River Books thank God for her service and for the powerful blessing she left us in the pages of her book Full Sail.
