Deep River Features Fourteen Authors at the International Christian Retail Show in St. Louis

Fourteen Deep River Authors flew to St. Louis, Missouri, to attend the International Christian Retail Show (ICRS) June 27-30th, where they were able to mingle with over 10,000 book buyers and store owners from around the world. During the event Deep River Authors signed over 1400 copies of books to hand out to retailers to take back to their store shelves.

From coast to coast and as far as Australia, authors came to the show to share their new releases. "There is nothing like it," said DR Publicist Rhonda Funk of Bring It On! Communications. "Having the opportunity to network and put the books in the hands of store buyers has been a fantastic experience for all of our authors who attended. And, I believe the same to be true for the book buyers. More than once attendees thanked us for the opportunity to meet the authors and hear a little bit about who they were and the vision behind their books."
"Now I can go back with excitement about these books," said a store owner from Redding, California after meeting authors John Claeys and Dr. LaSalle Vaughn. "Meeting the authors has made all the difference for me and makes it easier to sell the titles I bring back to my store."
Not only did the authors spend time signing books in the booth, but many were also interviewed for radio and television shows that were broadcasting live and taping for future shows. Interviews with media such as Coral Ridge Hour, American Family Radio, Praying Life Live with Jennifer Kennedy Dean, CBN.com and Control Track to name a few will be featuring several Deep River authors such as Sean Nolan-To Those Who Suffer, Rosemary Trible-Fear To Freedom, John Claeys-Apocalypse 2012, and Kristen Richburg-Disrupting Grace.
William and Nancie Carmichael, owners of Deep River Books, honored the authors and their guests in a kick-off dinner on Sunday June 27th. Sharing their books and their backgrounds, authors spent the evening getting to know each other and team building.
William Carmichael said, "We are truly blessed to have such an incredible group of authors. Each one is an asset to our Deep River team and we are so honored to have been able to introduce them to retailers from around the world."
