Our sales force of 15+ people has honed this hands-on background to gain access to the major retailers, wholesalers, on-line retailers, and independent stores ... and to secure prime shelf space for our clients' products when possible. Noted for their conscientious attention to detail, our reps have earned the professional respect of the accounts they call on and the publishers they represent. Darren Henry

As Head of Marketing for STL, Darren Henry will oversee the development of the ABA chains, independents, and mass accounts for Deep River Books. His established relationships with general market giants such as Barnes & Noble, Borders, Amazon, and Baker & Taylor are a tremendous asset to our impressive sales force. Darren worked nearly nine years for Multnomah Publishers in a variety of sales roles, most recently managing sales to general trade and mass market retailers of all varieties. Widely considered one of the top salesmen in Christian publishing to ABA/mass market accounts, Darren brings a new level of expertise to a growing sales staff at STL.

Terry Draughon

Terry Draughon, Vice President of Christian Market Sales, comes to STL Distribution with over twenty-five years sales and management experience in the Christian publishing industry. Prior to joining the STL sales force, most of his years were with Thomas Nelson, Inc. A visionary, Terry understands the many facets of the trade and brings wisdom and insight to our team of dedicated sales people.

Terry sells to the Christian chains and catalogers, including Family Christian Stores, LifeWay, Cokesbury, Mardel, Christian Book Distributors (CBD), Berean, among others. He also sells to the wholesaler distributors including STL/Appalachian, Ingram, and Anchor. 

STL Distribution North America provides outstanding sales to the Christian bookstores and provides "backroom" functions for Deep River Books, such as warehousing, order entry, product fulfillment, and shipping, combined with their wholesale distribution.

This provides their retailers with the best of both worlds – speed and service of a wholesaler combined with improved publisher/manufacturer discounts. STL operates two distribution centers- one in Elizabethton, TN and the other in Sparks, NV. 95% of their customers receive shipments in two days or less using standard ground shipment services.
